Hi, I'm Kaylee- a trauma-informed and body positive yoga teacher with a goal to create safe and inclusive yoga classes that are accessible to every body.

My classes are steeped in the energy of bhakti yoga (devotional, heart-based practice).

My personal yoga practice has given me the space to move my body with love rather than fear or guilt.  Each movement is a celebration, a living prayer, a praise to where my body is at today- and I aim to share that energy with you!


If you’re curious about yoga- stay a while and explore!  This is a trauma-informed and weight inclusive space (we accept and respect the diversity of all body shapes and sizes).  I see yoga asana (physical yoga practice) 
 as a way to create deeper attunement and connection to the body.

  • Tuesdays ~ Yin Yoga ~ 7:00-8:00 pm

I believe Yoga Is...

  • For ALL people. Meaning it is for all bodies. The doors are open to people of any size, age, ability, race, gender, sexuality, etc

  • A heart-based practice of non-judgement, compassion, and unity.

  • Beyond movement, beyond our mats; widely encompassing… Meditation, movement, breathing, extending compassion, mindfully washing your dishes, using a mantra, being kind? You’re practicing yoga!

  • A safe space where there is no “right or wrong”... You can choose to follow the guidance of a teacher, or play with other movements that may feel better for your body.

  • A way of life. On our mat, we practice monitoring the mind and choosing our thoughts, so off the mat we can consciously respond versus reacting. We practice holding space for our emotions, so they feel less scary when we feel big emotions in our day to day lives. We practice self-kindness, body awareness, and meeting our body where it’s at.

For me, Yoga has been...

A place for me to heal- mentally, emotionally, and physically.  It has been a space for me to move my body in a way I enjoy.

I hope to open the door for you to find healing through yoga as well. I would love to meet you on the mat!

I’m now offering low-cost, easily accessible yoga classes once a month online.

  • Sunday ~ February 21, 2021 ~ 11:00am CST
  • Monday ~ March 22, 2021 ~ 8:00pm CST
  • Sunday ~ April 18, 2021 ~ 3:00pm CST

While our themes will change monthly, you can expect my signature floor-based, yin/restorative form of yoga. You’ll be guided through a series of gentle, longer-held postures and mindfully guided through breath and meditation- creating a deeply nourishing class for the body, mind, and soul. You’re likely to leave these classes feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated! All classes are beginner friendly and open to any experience level.

One-on-one Sessions

Interested in a private yoga class?  Yoga truly is a healing modality.  I offer private, online yoga sessions so you can experience and discover yoga from the comfort of your home!

 

This would be ideal for someone who…

  • Is interested in starting a yoga practice but may be nervous about attending a studio (I’ve been there!!)
  • Wants to deepen their practice through private lessons
  • Is working with an injury, new health diagnosis, or chronic pain and is seeking support
  • Does not have a body positive yoga studio near them
  • Has had an unpleasant experience in the yoga community (judgement, shame, injury, unwanted hands-on, etc)- let’s do some repair work together!
  • Is under stress and wants to treat themselves to a personalized yoga session- designed to be healing, grounding, and relaxing
